Resettable Fuses (7689)

Resettable fuses, also known as Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) fuses, are protective devices that can automatically reset after an overcurrent condition is removed. They provide reliable overcurrent protection by increasing resistance and limiting current flow during a fault condition. Once the fault is cleared, the fuse returns to its normal low-resistance state. Resettable fuses are used in power supplies, consumer electronics, and automotive systems, providing reusable and maintenance-free overcurrent protection.
